SDNXT COMMUNITY GUIDELINES
Last updated: 5 October 2026
SDNXT is a place to connect with friends and the wider community, share what matters to you, and get guidance from education and migration professionals. These guidelines say what isn't allowed, how to report it, how blocking works, how we moderate, and what happens when the rules are broken. They apply to everything on SDNXT — posts, comments, Stories, messages, group chats, Lives, Spaces, Pages and profiles — and sit alongside our Terms of Service, which they form part of.
1. What isn't allowed
Harassment and abuse
Don't bully, threaten, intimidate or degrade anyone. Don't keep contacting someone who has made clear they don't want to hear from you, or create accounts to get around a block. Don't share someone's private information (such as their address, phone number or documents) without their permission.
Hate
Don't attack or dehumanise people because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
Violence and dangerous behaviour
Don't threaten or encourage violence, glorify attacks or the people who carry them out, or promote self-harm or suicide. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services.
Sexual content and nudity
Don't post nudity, sexual acts or sexually explicit content, or offer or ask for sexual services. Don't share intimate images of anyone without their consent, or threaten to.
Child safety
We have zero tolerance for anything that sexualises, exploits or endangers children. This includes child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual messages to anyone under 18 and attempts to meet a child for sexual purposes. We remove it, suspend the accounts involved and report it to the authorities. See our Child Safety Standards.
Illegal content and activity
Don't use SDNXT for anything illegal, including selling or promoting drugs, weapons or other illegal goods, human trafficking, or terrorism.
Spam and scams
Don't post repetitive or unwanted content, mass-message people, or fake engagement (bought followers, likes, views or gifts). Don't try to cheat people out of money, coins or personal information — for example fake jobs, visas, admissions, investments or prizes, phishing links, or asking someone to pay outside SDNXT for a service you never provide.
Impersonation and misleading identity
Don't pretend to be someone else — a person, a business, an education or migration agent, an institution or SDNXT staff. Professional and organisation accounts must be who they say they are and must not misrepresent their qualifications, licences or registrations.
False information that can cause harm
Don't share false information that could cause real harm, such as false claims about immigration rules or health that put people at risk.
Other people's rights
Only post content you own or have permission to share.
2. Reporting
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, report it. You can report:
- posts, comments and Stories — from the "•••" menu;
- an account — from the "•••" menu on their profile;
- a message — from the message's menu in the chat (press and hold the message);
- a Live, or a comment in a Live.
Choose the reason that fits best (spam, harassment, hate speech, nudity, violence, misinformation, child safety, scam or something else) and add details if you can. Reports are reviewed by our team. The person you report is not told who reported them. Please don't make false reports — abusing reporting is itself against the rules.
You can also email admin@sdnxt.app. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
3. Blocking
You can block anyone from the "•••" menu on their profile. Blocking is separate from reporting: it doesn't tell our team anything, and you can do both.
Once one of you has blocked the other, neither of you can:
- message or call the other;
- follow the other or send a friend request;
- see the other's profile, posts, Stories, or comments on other people's posts;
- like, comment on or send gifts to the other's posts;
- find the other in search;
- join the other's Lives.
The person you block isn't told. Blocking doesn't remove either of you from group chats you're both in, and doesn't hide Pages.
You can unblock someone at any time from their profile, or from Settings → Privacy → Blocked accounts. Nothing is deleted when you block, so an existing friendship, follow or chat is still there when you unblock.
If you host a Live, you can also remove, mute or block viewers from your Lives, and delete comments in them.
4. How we moderate
- New posts and Stories are checked before anyone else sees them. An automated safety check looks at the text, photos, link previews, frames from videos and the text of documents. Clearly fine posts are published straight away; anything else waits for a member of our team to review it. Editing a post's caption sends it back for checking.
- Comments, messages and Lives are not checked before they appear. We act on them when they are reported to us, and Live hosts can moderate their own Lives.
- Our team reviews reports and the posts the automated check doesn't clear. Automated checks can make mistakes; a person makes the decision to remove content or act on an account.
5. What happens when the rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may:
- decline to publish a post, or remove content that is already published;
- restrict features on an account;
- suspend an account — a suspended account is signed out and can't use SDNXT on the app or the website;
- suspend a Page;
- report content or activity to the police or other authorities where the law requires it or someone is at risk.
Content involving the sexual exploitation of children, credible threats of violence and serious scams lead to immediate suspension.
If you think we made a mistake, email admin@sdnxt.app with your account's email address and what you'd like us to look at again.
