SDNXT CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS
Last updated: 5 October 2026
SDNXT (the SDNXT apps and sdnxt.app, operated by SD EDU PTY LTD, ACN 689 705 075, Western Australia) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. These standards explain what we prohibit, how we keep young people safe, how to report a concern, and what we do when we receive a report.
1. What we prohibit
The following are prohibited everywhere on SDNXT — in posts, comments, Stories, messages, group chats, Lives, Spaces, Pages and profiles:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM), in any form, including drawn, edited or computer-generated material;
- any content that sexualises a child, including sexualised comments about a child's body;
- grooming — building trust with a child in order to abuse or exploit them;
- sending sexual messages or images to anyone under 18, or asking them for any;
- sextortion — threatening to share intimate images of anyone, or using such images to demand money or more images;
- arranging or attempting to meet a child for sexual purposes;
- child trafficking, or advertising or selling children for any purpose;
- sharing a child's personal information in a way that puts them at risk.
2. Age requirements and protections
- You must be at least 16 to use SDNXT. Everyone gives their date of birth when signing up, and an account cannot be created for anyone under 16.
- Users aged 16 and 17 can't go Live or co-host a Live, send or receive gifts in Lives, transfer coins, cash out, or buy or sell subscriptions.
- If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we delete it.
3. Keeping SDNXT safe
- New posts and Stories are checked before anyone else sees them: an automated check looks for sexual and other harmful content in their text, photos, video frames and documents, and anything it doesn't clear waits for review by our team.
- Anyone can report content or an account for child safety, and anyone can block another user so they can no longer contact them (see our Community Guidelines).
4. How to report a concern
- In the app: use Report on the post, comment, Story, message, account, Live or Live comment, and choose Child safety.
- By email: write to admin@sdnxt.app with "Child safety" in the subject. Describe what you saw and where (for example the account's name or a link), but do not send us images or copies of abusive material.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first. In Australia you can also report child sexual exploitation to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) at accce.gov.au.
5. What we do when we receive a report
- Child-safety reports are treated as our most urgent reports.
- Content that breaks these standards is removed, and the accounts involved are suspended.
- We preserve the relevant information and report child sexual abuse material and child exploitation to the appropriate authorities as required by law — in Australia, the Australian Federal Police's ACCCE and the eSafety Commissioner — and cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
- We may also take action on related accounts, including new accounts created to get around a suspension.
6. Compliance with the law
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including Australia's Online Safety Act 2021, and with the child safety requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play.
7. Contact
Our point of contact for child safety, including questions from authorities and app stores about these standards, can be reached at admin@sdnxt.app.
