SDNXT ACCOUNT DELETION

This page explains how to delete your SDNXT account and what happens to your information when you do. SDNXT is an app and website (sdnxt.app) operated by SD EDU PTY LTD (ACN 689 705 075), Western Australia. You don't need to be signed in to read this page.

1. Delete your account in the app

• Open the SDNXT app and go to Settings → Security → Delete Account.
• Enter your password to confirm.
• Your account is scheduled for deletion. You'll see the date it will be permanently deleted — 30 days from your request.
  
  

2. Delete your account without the app

If you can't use the app, email admin@sdnxt.app from the email address on your SDNXT account, with the subject "Delete my account". We may ask you to confirm the request so that nobody can delete an account that isn't theirs. Once confirmed, we'll delete the account and tell you when it's done.

3. The 30-day recovery period

For 30 days after you ask to delete your account in the app, the deletion can still be undone: sign back in and choose Restore My Account, and everything is as it was. During these 30 days your profile and posts remain on SDNXT as before. At the end of the 30 days the deletion becomes permanent and cannot be undone.

4. What is deleted

When the deletion becomes permanent, we delete:

• your account and sign-in details, and your profile: name, email address, photo, cover photo, bio and the other details you added;
• your posts, including their photos, videos and documents, and your comments and likes;
• your Stories;
• your one-to-one chats — for both people in them — including photos, videos, voice messages and files sent in them;
• the messages and files you sent in group chats;
• your followers, the people you follow, your friends, and the people you blocked;
• your Lives, Space and subscriptions (to and from you);
• your wallet: your coin balance, earnings and transaction history, and your coin purchase and cash-out records;
• your notification settings and device notification tokens, and your login history.
  
  

A Page you own is handed to another manager of that Page if there is one; otherwise it is suspended.

5. What is kept

• Reports you made about content or other users are kept so our team can finish acting on them, but no longer show who made them.
• Records that you accepted our Terms and Privacy Policy, and security and moderation records, are kept without being linked to your account. Security records are deleted after 180 days.
• Records that SD EDU PTY LTD must keep for accounting, tax and legal reasons — such as records of payments and fees SDNXT received — are kept for as long as the law requires.
• Apple, Google and Stripe keep their own records of purchases made through them, under their own privacy policies.
• If someone shared one of your posts to their Story, their Story keeps its own copy until the Story expires (Stories last 24 hours). Messages other people sent in group chats you were in stay in those chats.
• Copies of deleted information can remain in our routine backups for up to 30 days, until those backups are overwritten. Backups are used only to restore the service after a failure, never to bring back a deleted account.
  
  

6. Coins and earnings

Coins and earnings left in your wallet when the deletion becomes permanent are lost and can't be recovered. If you have earnings you can cash out, cash them out before you delete your account. Unused coins are not refunded, except where the law or the rules of the store you bought them from require it.
